This study was intended find efficacy Katakakhadiradi Kashayam(KKK)on profile tissue streptozotocin-nicotinamide (SN) induced rats. rats were treated Kashyam orally at doses 100, 200 300 mg/kg/bw. For 28 days compared standard drug Glibenclamide. After kashayam treatment triglyceride, HDL-cholesterol total cholesterol level assayed caused streptozotocin analysed histology study.Katakakhadiradi could restore serum controlling blood glucose reduce injury Supplementation showed a significant improvement thus helping retarding secondary complications.
